Easy money in Runescape

How do you make easy money in Runescape? Well working hard for money isn't exactly easy so I'm going to show you something that you might not have heard of before. It involves persistence rather than hard work, and it is a sometimes good idea to look in unofficial Runescape forums. Fortunately free members can use these. You can find a few different forums I recommend at the links page.

 
The method that I am going to reveal to you in this guide is hiring workers to make money. It involves using the money you already have in order to make more money. If you have absolutely no money (or anything under 20k), then read the Runescape millions guide.

Section 1: Choosing your area of interest

When I say "choose your area of interest" I mean which of the different types of items and skill are you going to choose from in order to make your money from hiring other workers:

  • Fishing - fish
  • Mining - ores
  • Woodcutting - logs/arrow shafts

The only product above that doesn't change price that often is logs and arrow shafts, so I'm going to show you what to do so you get the idea of what to do and can adapt the technique in other areas of interest. I don't want to tell you price info that changes rapidly because that could loose you money.

Section 2: How to find workers

Many new players with low skills are bewildered with the fact that you can make !HUNDRDS! of coins, and it seems a MASSIVE amount to them. Although we know that coins aren't a massive amount until you have millions (which you are on your way to earning), these players will therefore do work for very little amounts.

  1. Find some players who are woodcutting and looking for cash and tell them that you will pay them 15-20gp each for the logs (if they get 20 logs in 5 minutes they will earn 20gp each, if they get 20 logs in 10 minutes they will get 15gp each, this will encourage them to work faster). Add them to your friends list and get as many people you can to do this (5-10 people is good). I said that they think 100 coins is loads of money, and they are going to be earning 300-400gp per 100 coins so they will be very happy and excited.
  2. Now look on the member forums for people buying logs. Tell them that you will supply them in 1k amounts and find someone who will pay around 75-100gp each. You can make 75k-100k per 1000 logs, and you will have spent 15k-20k on them. That's 50-80k profit in about 10 minutes! WOW!
  3. If you are unsure on how to find someone to sell the logs to then follow these steps:
    1. Go onto the official Runescape Member forums (you need to be a member to post but free accounts can read them).
    2. Find someone buying logs for 75-100gp each.
    3. Add them in game (normally they will be looking for free players because they know that members with logs are probably making a profit, and even though you are making loads of money they are still getting them cheaper from you)!
    4. Tell them that you have 1k logs, and you can get more every 10-20 minutes if they need them.
    • They are using these logs because they are making arrow shafts (you can make 15 shafts from 1 log, and shafts sell for 15gp each or more. If you are a member and want to know more about this then read the Runescape Millions guide).
    • They might be fletching them at the same time so if they are fletching whilst you are getting them, there is a high chance that they will want to buy more off you every 10-20mins.
    • If they don't want to buy more, look for another seller. You can probably afford to buy up to 3k of logs off your workers now because of the profit you have made, so if you can't find a seller keep buying otherwise they might stop working for you.
